Catholicate College,Pathanamthitta
is a Special grade college of Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam
and re-accredited with B++ status by the NAAC.It was established in 1952 as the pioneer
institution of higher education of the Malankara Orthodox Church,under the educational agency
HH Baselious Marthoma PauloseII Catholicos of the East.The Manager of the Institution is His
Grace Kuriakose Mar Clemis Metropolitian.The college has completed Fifty-nine years in
disseminating quality education in the central Travancore region of Kerala.Catholicate College,
enjoys the privilege of being one of the best colleges under the Mahatma Gandhi University with
a consistently outstanding performance record.The founding patrons were sages and visionaries
who exemplified the mission.The college has been endeavoring to shape the destiny of a community
