College Pathanamthitta
is a constituent first grade college of Mahatma Gandhi
University, Kottayam and re-accredited with B ++ status by the NAAC. It was established
in 1952 as the pioneer institution of higher education of the Malankara Orthodox Church.
The college has completed fifty-six years in
disseminating quality education in the central Travancore region of
Kerala.
Catholicate College, enjoys the privilege
of being one of the best colleges under the Mahatma Gandhi University
with a consistently outstanding performance record.
The founding patrons were sages and visionaries who exemplified the
mission. The college has been endeavoring to shape the density of a
community in the fullest spirit of its stated mission, “An
educated, enlightened society for a brave new world”.
