Globalization
of education and economy has led the UGC to reorient and reshape its
policies and programmes to make the current Indian Higher Education System
more relevant and career-oriented with force on quality and excellence .
Demand and scope for professionally trained graduates are visible in the
applied fields of almost all basic/core disciplines and faculties in the
current changing global scenario. To meet this challenge, during the 10th
plan UGC has sanctioned the following skill oriented and value added
add-on-course to this college.
Candidates joining any UG degree course can concurrently pursue this
programme in addition to their regular course. The course is designed in
such a way that a student coming out with a bachelors degree will have an
additional Certificate / Diploma /Advance Diploma in computer technology.
Those who completed the certificate course(1st year 20
- credits) can join the Diploma course(2nd
year - 40 credits). Diploma holders can join the Advanced Diploma
course
(3rd year 60 credits).

Accounting packages. (Under the auspices of
the Dept. of Commerce) 250 hours duration. Importance is given to the
development of communicative skills and accounting packages (Tally 6.3

Business
English Certificate (BEC - Cambridge University) and Integrated Course in
English Communicative Skills (ICECS)
A Certificate
Course in Communicative English. The course is intended to equip the
students with the skills in language listening, speaking, reading and
writing. Importance is given to Spoken English and Business English. For
