The college council shall nominate one
senior teacher of the college as the general Co-ordinator for the conduct of
internal evaluation who will be responsible for co-ordinating the entire
procedure of the internal evaluation in the college
The test papers/assignment/seminar will be held at regular intervals.
Teachers concerned shall evaluate the test papers/seminars and return the
answer scripts to the student within two weeks of the conduct of the
seminar/test paper / assignment. The consolidated marklist of he entire
year, shall be published in the college notice board in the first week of
March. The final mark list . sdn; the prescribed form shall be sent to the
university before the last working day of March.
There shall be provision for Grievance redressal at three levels. Complaints
regarding the evaluation shall be brought to the notice of the teacher
concerned in the first instance. If the student is not satisfied with the
decision of the teacher concerned, he may appeal to the Department Grievance
Redressal cell which shall have as members the Head of the Department, the
teacher-in-charge for the particular class and the teacher again at whom the
complaint is made. The student will also have the freedom tomake further
appeal to the college level Grievance Redressal Cell which shall have the
principal, the General Co-ordinator and the concerned Head of the department
as members. The verdict of the college level Redressed Cell shall be final.

Complaints regarding the evaluation shall
be made the earliest opportunity preferably within two days of the award of
marks. Complaints regarding the final tally of marks will be made before the
15th of March and cases disposed of before 20th of
March. The marks obtained in the internal
and external evaluation shall be entered separately in the university marks
sheet. There shall be separate minimum of 30% for pass in internal and
external evaluation

- ATTENDANCE :
4% of the total marks for each paper. The same marks shall be awarded for
every paper for which external examination is conducted on the basis of
the average attendance of the student for the period from the first
working day of the academic year to the last working day of February. The
weightage of attendance for awarding marks shall be as follows.
Attendence : Marks :
Below 50% NIL
Between 50 & 74% 1% of the total marks
Between 75 & 79% 2% of the total marks
Between 80 & 89% 3% of the total marks
90% and above 4% of the total marks
Only those who secure a minimum of 20% marks will be allowed to appear for
the external examination. An exception will be made in the case of those
for whom condonation is granted by the University.
The attendance shall be marked in every class and consolidated by the
College Office.

SEMINAR
4% of the total marks. Each student shall present a seminar paper in the
case of each main/subsidiary paper. His/her performance in the Seminar
along with the script of the Seminar will be evaluated or awarding marks
by the teacher concerned.
Seminar is optional for first and second language papers. Where no seminar
is held, an additional assignment will be given and marks awarded along
the lines stipulated for the award of marks for assignment

CONSOLIDATION OF MARK LIST :
The marks for each subject will be consolidated by the teacher-m-charge
for the subject in each class who will be nominated by the Head of the
Department. The teacher-in-charge for the main subject in each class shall
also consolidate the marks for the subjects relating to that particular
class. Separate register shall be mantained in each department for each
class. The consolidated register for all subjects will also be maintained
by the teacher-in-charge for the main syllabus in each class.

ANNEXURE:
-
If a candidate fails to secure
30% minimum in aggregate for internal evaluation he/she shall repeat (re-do)
only those papers excluding external evaluation in which he/she secures less
than 30% marks for internal evaluation.
-
In the case of candidate
absenting for any/all papers in the case of internal evaluation, only those
papers in which the candidate absented himself / herself need be repeated.

Those candidate who fail in the
internal evaluation will be given chances for redoing (repeating) as:
Redoing in Test papers, Assignments, Seminars (Except attendance) has to
be done before the commencement of supplementary examinations.
Additional Assignments may be given to candidate instead of seminars, at
the discretion of H.O.D. / Principal.

There shall not be any provision
for improvement of marks obtained in subjects in which the student has
already passed.

25 marks will be set
apart for internal evaluation of all semester papers and
project/dissertation. The 25 marks for continuous internal evaluation will
be distributed as follows:
